Meet The Team

So this was our first test upload.  After a while we'll get the hang of it.  Beautiful day with friends on top of Table Mountain overlooking Cape town!

It was perfect!  My Airbnb was right across the street from the shul.  The rabbi was super nice.  I just walked across the street for shacharit prayers.  Below are some pictures inside.  They gave me the Hagbah. 

He has a kosher Airbnb rental within his yard complex.  I stayed there for about a week.  Had Shabbat dinner with his wife, kids and parents.  That was really nice.  Big synagogues in Joburg! 

This is a cool day.  Nicole and I went to meetings together several times.  She drove.  I enjoyed the ride and the good weather.  We went to a really nice park and marketplace one day. 

Nice group of young boys.  Prayed with them a few times over a couple weeks.  I prayed at about three other synagogues in Cape town while there.

After shacharit prayer here, then I'd look for another shul for Minchah and Maariv prayer.  And then maybe a meeting later that night.

This recovery group is about a 20 minute Uber drive outside of Cape town.  I was delivering free literature and meeting people.  Super great group!

Very nice Boardwalk along the beach.  Great weather.  A whole lotta people out and about.

Some of us stuck around for coffee.  Amberly was a dedicated regular that was always helping others.  Afternoon meetings are usually small.  And Uber is super inexpensive in Cape town!!
